The meeting was held on on Thursday, 8 October 2020 at 11:00 am at Bilik Taklimat KP, Tingkat 12, Menara A, IPK Kuala Lumpur and attended by the Criminal Law Practice Committee (CLPC) was represented by the Co-Chairpersons of the Criminal Law Practice Committee (CLPC), Jacky Loi Yap Loong and Collin Arvind Andrew.
Among the iIssues discussed were concerning the administration of criminal justice were discussed at the meeting.e.

Pupils Introduction Session
The Pupils Introduction Session in October was held online via Zoom. Led by Rajsurian Pillai, the session was attended by 61 pupils. The purpose of the Pupils Introduction Session is to introduce pupils to the structure of the Malaysian Bar and the Kuala Lumpur Bar, the election to both the Bar Council and the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee (“KLBC”) and the highlights of the Malaysian Bar. It included a session for pupils to raise issues and problems faced by them during their pupillage period.
Also included in the said Pupils Introduction Session was a session on “Diversity & Inclusion” which aim was to educate and create awareness among the pupils on, inter alia, issues related to gender sensitisation, sexual harassment and unconscious bias. The session was conducted by Dr. Bahma Sivasubramaniam, Specialist Programme Coordinator, Masters in Converged Telecommunications Policy and Regulations of Faculty of Management, Multimedia University and Thulasy Suppiah, a member of the KLBC Gender Equality & Diversity Committee.
