5 February 2024 Pupils Introduction And Diversity & Inclusion Session The Pupils Introduction Session in February 2024 was held on 5 February 2024 from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at the Kuala Lumpur Bar Auditorium. Led by Weera Premananda, the session was attended by 89 pupils. The purpose of the Pupils Introduction Session is to introduce pupils to the structure of the Malaysian Bar and the Kuala Lumpur Bar, the election to both the Bar Council and the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee, and the highlights of the Malaysian Bar. It includes a session for students to discuss issues and problems they encountered during their pupillage period. Also included in the Pupils Introduction Session is a session on “Diversity & Inclusion: Unconscious Bias”. The aim of this segment is to educate and create awareness about how our unconscious biases and innate prejudices lead to poor judgment and poor decision-making, which in turn result in unintentional discrimination and overall poor "diversity
