Introduction to Mergers & Acquisitions
Organised by the Corporate & Conveyancing Practice Committee, this webinar was presented by Terrence Edward Chong and moderated by Ng Wei Hui. It was held via Zoom from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Pupil Introduction Sessions
The Pupils Introduction Session in May was held online via Zoom. Led by Rajsurian Pillai, the session was attended by 78 pupils. The purpose of the Pupils Introduction Session is to introduce pupils to the structure of the Malaysian Bar and the Kuala Lumpur Bar, the election to both the Bar Council and the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee (“KLBC”) and the highlights of the Malaysian Bar. It included a session for pupils to raise issues and problems faced by them during their pupillage period.

Jointly organised by the Gender Equality & Diversity Committee, the Pupils Committee and the Young Lawyers Committee, this webinar was held via Streamyard/FB Live from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Trivia Night
Organised by the Young Lawyers Committee, this event was held via Zoom from 8:00pm to 9:00pm and hosted by Ananda Mohan. The purpose of the event was not just for everyone to gather virtually for a night of trivia but also for networking. We had 39 participants who were grouped into 7 teams to compete in the event and the winners were:
2nd, 3rd and 4th place – Team 5, Team Tequilla Mockingbird and Team Chill
