Introduction For the past 13 years, Charity Night has been organised as an annual event by the Kuala Lumpur Young Lawyers Committee (‘KLYLC’) to raise funds for worthy social causes. Previous beneficiaries include the National Autism Society of Malaysia, the National Kidney Foundation, Project Light A Home, Mercy Malaysia, and the Selangor and the Federal Territory Association for the Mentally Handicapped. This year’s Charity Night 2017 was held on 10 November 2017 at MAKESPACE @ QUILL CITY MALL and the beneficiary this year is the Cleft Lip and Palate Association of Malaysia (CLAPAM). CLAPAM is a non-profit, non-government organisation and a support group consisting of volunteers from parents with children born with cleft lip and/or palate, adults with cleft lip and/or palate and healthcare professionals who manage such individuals.
