Report on the Visit to NACSCOM Setapak for Cheque Presentation

On 15.8.2009, the Kuala Lumpur Young Lawyers Committee (“KLYLC”) sent a team, led by Fam Yu Min to the Old Folks Home in Setapak run by the National Council of Senior Citizens Organisations Malaysia (“NACSCOM”) and officially handed over the proceeds collected from the Charity Night 2009 held on 3.7.2009.

The team was accompanied by Richard Wee, Jessica Audrey Jeremiah and Melissa Dass. When they arrived at NACSCOM, they were greeted by Mr Tang who is the Home Manager of NACSCOM. Mr Tang has also taken the liberty to bring them around the premises and visit the residents in NACSCOM.

After the short tour within the premises, Richard Wee, in his capacity as the Honorary Secretary of the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee, presented the cheque to NACSCOM and Mr Tang was very glad with the amount collected and appreciative of the works of the KLYLC.

After the cheque presentation, the team had drinks with Mr Tang. They then departed around 11.00am.
